At cBa, it's not all about business…

The Association holds several events each year where members, their spouse's and guests, get together to enjoy their friendship away from a business environment and have some fun. In reality it's social networking and gives us the opportunity to socialize and get to know each other a little better in a relaxed atmosphere.

There's no limit to the type of event held and the Association is open to all suggestions from the members. If there's enough interest in a particular event, our event coordinator will start the wheels in motion.

Some of our regular yearly events are:

• Annual Christmas Brunch held at the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club including a sing-along and “Silly Gift Exchange” and an unbelievable Brunch to satisfy any appetite.
• Mini-Putt Golf evening suited to non-golfers and golfers alike, but usually the novices don't feel the frustration. After becoming experienced “Mini-Golf Pro's” we gather at a local restaurant for food, drink, conversation and lie exchange.
• Annual “Bowling Night” held late winter/early spring to get members in athletic shape and hear and learn new words that may or may not direct the ball towards the pin. After the game we gather for Pizza and Wings and a beverage to discuss bragging rights.
• Annual “Night at the Races” held each October at Rideau Carleton Raceway and Slots, which includes a delicious Buffet Dinner, a race voucher and a one race named for the cBa, where we gather in the winner's circle for a group photo with the horse and jockey.

All of these events are very popular and well attended and we look forward to them each year.
